Jorge Raboledo

RTO Manager

Jorge has worked across higher and vocational education, corporate, and not for profits as an education manager, instructional designer and academic. With over 20 years experience across for profit and not for profit education and management, Jorge manages the RTO and the courses that we offer, including student support. Jorge develops and designs courses and units, and manages IAP’s student support systems, ensuring compliance and a positive student experience for all our students.

Deborah Biderman

Deborah is Clinical Hypnotherapist , Strategic Psychotherapist, NLP Practitioner and coach who practices what she preaches.

She has extensive experience is working with people who are experiencing anxiety, fears, phobias, stress performance issues and much more and her practical down to earth and engaging approach is much sought after.

Deborah partners with the client to discover new ways forward with a focus on the personal approach.

Kerry Bailey

Assessor

Kerry has a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy 10450NAT, a Diploma of NLP Leadership and Strategic Coaching, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Kerry has trained with Gordon Young at IAP, and also trained with Michael Yapko, Stephen Gilligan and other notable professionals in order to pursue excellence and continue growing her skillset in the therapy work that drives her.

Kerry has over ten years’ experience of working as an assessor and trainer and has over 30 years of experience as a senior manager and consultant working in both corporate and small businesses where her years of NLP Training served her and her clients well.

Sheb Giner

Sheb is an accredited Exercise Scientist, Nationally Recognised and Accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist and Strategic Psychotherapist.

Sheb enjoys professional speaking opportunities that teach individuals how to enrich their lives, create a better future and how the mind can be trained for optimal performance and growth. Sheb’s interest is to boost individual morale, increase creativity, teach individuals how to reconnect their mindbody and how to apply coping strategies towards chronic stress.

Sheb has over 15 years experience working with over 1,000's of individual's within the Allied Health Sector as a practitioner for 10 of those years in her own practice and 5 years in Corporate as Occupational Health and Wellbeing Specialist.

During her journey, Sheb discovered that in order for individuals to create a positive change towards their health and wellbeing, and to improve their quality of life, they must first work on modifying their thoughts and behaviours.

Dr Dan Short

Adjunct Instructor

Dan Short, PhD is currently director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute in Phoenix. He has served as Assistant Director for the Milton H. Erickson Foundation, and was formerly the Executive Editor of the Milton H. Erickson Foundation Newsletter. Dr. Short is the lead author of Hope and Resiliency, in co-authorship with Betty Alice Erickson and Roxanna Erickson Klein. He is also the author of Transformational Relationships and numerous professional articles, book chapters and other publications, having recently collaborated with Roxanna Erickson Klein to define Ericksonian Psychotherapy in the SAGE Encyclopedia of Counselling and Theory. Currently teaching Clinical Hypnosis at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, he conducts consultation groups for professionals in the Phoenix metropolitan area, as well as providing supervision of professionals in the United States and abroad, presenting seminars and workshops as visiting Faculty at Institutes around the world.

Dr Colin Lemmon

Dr. Colin Lemmon is a university lecturer at James Cook University and Central Queensland University in Cairns, currently teaching Project Management, Statistics and Research Design. Over the years, Colin has designed subjects for university campuses in Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore and Beijing. He has taught a wide range of subjects both here in Australia and overseas in China.

Colin has an Honours degree in Psychology and a PhD from James Cook University, in addition to a Diploma of Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy (10450NAT). He runs Cairns Clinical Hypnotherapy which is a successful hypnotherapy practice that deals with a vast array of conditions.

With a certificate IV in fitness, Colin provides sports coaching for athletes that participate in the marathons and triathlons that are run regularly in Cairns. As an NLP Master Practitioner and lecturer in the School of Business, he also provides business coaching for professional development.

Dr LIsa Blackwell

Psychiatrist Advisor

Lisa first came to the IAP as a student and completed a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis and Strategic Psychotherapy 10450NAT.
Originally, Lisa qualified as a doctor from the Imperial College of Medicine & Technology, London, UK in 1995. During her time at medical school, she was also awarded a scholarship to study nutrition at King’s College, London, for a year and received an Intercalated Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 1992. She worked in Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Palliative Care and General Practice before committing fully to specializing in psychiatry in 2000.
Lisa did her specialist training in psychiatry both as a junior and advanced trainee in the UK as part of London hospital training schemes. She became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK in 2005. She moved to Australia in 2007 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Lisa is now the IAP’s psychiatric consultant.
